Container Arrival

Cobblestone Container Arrival

All of our quotes include delivery to your project, unless specified.

Monarch Stone International contracts with some of the finest ocean and land freight forwarders in the country.  Natural stone is delivered by flatbed semi-trucks (typically 24 tons) or,  in the case of antique cobblestone, full 20’ shipping containers (typically 20 to 22 tons).   The shipping cost is the same if the truck or the container is less than fully loaded, so it is more cost-effective to ship in full units.

Smaller orders can be accommodated, with individual pallets being delivered by common carrier (LTL)  if requested.

In most cases, stone purchases may require clients to be responsible for unloading the pallets of stone from delivery trucks.

Antique cobblestone is usually shipped directly to your project from the port in 20’ containers, and are off-loaded with a telescopic or reach type of forklift.  Clients are responsible for off-loading antique cobblestone.  There are approximately 13 bags per container, weighing approximately 1.5 tons each.

Monarch Stone International accepts no responsibility for delays in shipment due to;  security or  customs delays, equipment problems or circumstances beyond our control.   Orders should be placed within a time frame that adequately allows for order production and transportation.
